The Georgia-based band has been playing together since the late 1980's... Formed by drummer/keyboardist, B.D. (Byron Davis) and original member, trumpet/flugel horn player Cedric Young. They have performed with a wide spectrum of groups, from the Beach Boys to Public Enemy. The Between 9&7 sound is as good as it because of the heritage of this ensemble... Solid playing, exceptional players, great songs and a very cool vibe. The band is well balanced between keys and horns... Lots of horns and well executed keyboards including piano and organ.
