The band members are complete professionals who nail the Django/Gypsy Jazz style perfectly. They work great as a dance band (despite no drummer) but are such talented musicians that you can just sit back and listen (without blowing more sensitive ears out of the room). We would recommend them highly! They were perfect for our wedding -- and we look forward to going to more of their events.

The Hot Club guys were total pros - very relaxed and easy to work with. And they sounded great! They were able to adjust the level of volume just right during the reception, so that guests could enjoy the music but also hear each other while chatting. And when it came time to dance, they turned it up and "read" the crowd very well. Thanks, Metropolitan Hot Club!

We really liked the music and thought they played well. As far as planning, communication in the beginning was very good, but not as good as our wedding date got closer. In hindsight I wish we would have discussed the venue more. We couldn't hear the band where they originally set up and it didn't seem like they wanted to be accommodating and move to another location so we could hear them. The band in another venue would have been a lot better.

This group of talented musicians helped my wife and I throw a really amazing and memorable wedding. They were extremely professional and put together some really fun renditions of our special request songs, "Cantina Band" and "In my Life". My wife and I are swing dancers and we had an amazing time dancing to their live music. I highly recommend this band for gypsy jazz and swing enthusiasts.

We really enjoyed having Metropolitan Hot Club play our wedding--they sounded excellent and were really great about working with our requests. We loved the instruments and their arrangements. We would definitely recommend them to anyone for any occasion--MHC's music is easy and fun to dance with and is different from typical radio hits.

We were looking for a very specific sound for our wedding and were so happy when we found The Metropolitan Hot Club on Gigmasters -- they were exactly what we had in mind. They also turned out to be extremely easy to work with, prompt, polite and of course entertaining! They even helped us pick out processional and first dance songs. We would definitely recommend them.

These guys are fantastic! The music is excellent and well-played. Being a musician myself, I was always intrigued and excited for the next song. Additionally, when some last minute provisions needed to be made, they rolled with the punches and were always willing to accommodate. We will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone!
