There aren't enough good words to say about Jazz in the Air! I work for WGBH's classical station, WCRB, and my husband is a concert pianist. We were smitten with the thoughtful variety of music and the sheer, contagious groove that they always found! And Bob was always right there by e-mail to answer questions. What great musicians! We asked at the last minute if they'd play with my daughter's boyfriend singing "Over the Rainbow" -- and they were more than happy to do it. And wow -- what a soulful sax solo! Highly, highly recommended! And we thank them for making it such a beautiful evening.

We had them come in on short notice for a corporate Christmas party. They were on time and played a good mix of Christmas songs and classic jazz tunes. Everyone at the office commented on how enjoyable it was. I would hire them back in a heart beat.

Bob and his group were great to work with. Bob replied to emails in a timely manner and accommodated all of our special requests. We hired a trio, and they arrived on time, dressed appropriately, and were professional throughout the event. The music was FANTASTIC! They are a talented group, and I highly recommend them.

We could not have been more pleased with our selection of Jazz in the Air for our adult surprise birthday party! The quartet was highly professional, played beautifully together, and also offered up some spectacular solo sections. It was easy listening at its best, very grown up and sophisticated. Bob and the band were spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of the evening.
My Mom and Dad were thrilled they were there playing. They are both huge jazz fans. The music selection was beautiful and the band played so thoughtfully in the room. I can not rave enough about the "Jazz in Air Trio". Thank you for making their 50th Anniversary one unforgettable evening. It would not have been the same without you.

Jazz in the Air really helped make our wedding PERFECT! They played for our ceremony and even took the time to learn songs that weren't normally on their set list. You would never guess it. They sounded incredible. They also played our cocktail hour and we could not have been happier with them. Talented, professional, easy to work with, and very reasonably priced. Jazz in the Air played at my wedding this past June. Bob was great. He met with me before the wedding and went over eveything to make sure my day would go smoothly. Although sadly, I was too busy to get to hear Bob and his band play at cocktail hour or pre-ceremony, I heard only wonderful things from my guests about them! I would defintely reccommend them to anyone looking for an elegant, classic, and professional jazz band for their wedding!

Jazz is in the air was fantastic! Not only performing so well on our wedding day, but helping me plan out the music, the ceremony and the timing of it all. Bob was so responsive, professional and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend 'Jazz is in the Air'. Our venue required 'acoustical' music during the reception. The band played exactly what we had asked, and at the exact sound level that was appropriate for the room/venue. We also had a acoustical guitar and flute during the ceremony and they played such a lovely version of 'somewhere over the rainbow' - guests are still talking about it weeks later! Thank you, Bob and your band!!

The band was great. It really made the night with them playing for my parents 50th anniversary. People commented on the band the entire night and even after the night. I am so glad to have hired them for the party and WILL definitely hire them again for another night when we need their style of music.
If you are thinking of hiring them for your event, do not hesitate. They have a very warm personality and a great sound with lots of talent.

We hired Jazz in the Air Trio for our corporate grand opening. The trio added so much to the event and we received several compliments from our guests regarding their performance. The music was flawless and working with the band beforehand was effortless. We were in need of audio equipment and set up to accommodate our guest speakers, which the band handled for us at a minimal extra charge. I highly recommend Jazz in the Air Trio to anyone who is looking for an affordable, professional, great sounding band who is easy to work with - you won't be disappointed!

Bob and his trio were soooo professional, AND talented and sensitive performers. We had an engagement brunch. They played music for our eating time, and we danced to the more inovative pieces. It was horrendous weather, but there they were--beating the snowstorm and staying until the end. What troupers and VERY talented musicians. I will hire them again in a heartbeat. This past weekend we hired Jazz in the Air for our annual holiday party at home. Bob Sabourin, the band leader, responded immediately to our request for a jazz trio and recommended a great mix of light jazz and holiday music. They gauged the volume and music to match the evening and our baby grand piano never sounded so good! We had to ask them to extend their 5 hour gig to 7 hours to accommodate our guests.
Thank you, Jazz in the Air, for making our annual holiday party the best one ever. We look forward to hiring your talented band in the future for another great party and will gladly recommend you to others who wish to throw a smashing event!

Jazz in the Air performed for our cocktail hour. We asked them to play light, classic jazz that people could dance to yet have a conversation over. They performed beautifully. I had numerous guests approach me to tell me how great of a job they did. They had some constraints to deal with (they were placed on a balcony, away from guests, and had to depart during the reception to make way for a DJ) and handled them all great!
Bob was a professional throughout the process and worked with my wife and myself to make it a great event.
Thanks to Bob and the band, we had a great wedding and some great memories.

We hired Jazz in the Air to be the performers for our Christmas Show. We are a Catholic School (prek through sixth) and wanted the group to play songs the children could sing along to. They were fabulous! The kids loved the music and singing along. Bob was so accommodating and professional. It was a pleasure dealing with him. I would definitely recommend them for any school performance!

Jazz in the Air Trio played background music for the preview party at our live art auction, and they were fantastic. We had many comments from our guests on how much they loved the music. The band leader, Bob Sabourin was unable to be part of the group that evening, and that had made us a bit nervous, as this was their first engagement with us -- but he assured us we needn't worry...and he was right. The three performers who came were top professionals in every respect...and we would invite them back in a heartbeat.
