My style is energetic, smooth and soulful/jazzy; think Diane Reeves, Ella Fitzgerald, Randy Crawford, Phyllis Hyman, Patti Austin, Roberta Flack, Jill Scott, Anita Baker, Marilyn McCoo, Diana Krall, Etta James, Tony Braxton, The Marvelettes and Mary Wells, etc. I offer a variety of styles of music to choose from: jazz, smooth jazz, Motown, R&B, Soul, pop, and spiritual.
I am available for nightclubs, restaurants, festivals, concerts and private events, including weddings, funerals, retirement homes, and spiritual events. I also do themed performances, such as birthdays, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's R&B, Motown, etc.
I offer two types of bookings:
1. With musician(s): more costly, but it can add to the atmosphere to have a live musician
2. Alone: I perform with professionally recorded music. This is a more budget conscious choice, but with the same quality show.

Cheryl was wonderful and very talented. She sang Precious Lord Take My Hand, acapella and it was beautiful. She was also very kind and supportive and she stayed for the funeral. She sang in the middle of the minister's ulogy. Her beautiful voice was so reassuring that our Lord stays with us. On that day, I needed that reassurance. Patricia Smith

Cheryll performed at my mother-in-law's 90th birthday party. She was AMAZING, her performance was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the party! She was extremely professional from beginning to end, had a wonderful presence at the party (down to being dressed beautifully!), sounded great and really worked the crowd. She has an extensive song list but did me the SUPER BIG FAVOR of learning "La Vie En Rose" in FRENCH for the event (with all French speakers/music lovers in the room saying she nailed it). She's a sweet, reliable & talented performer. I'd love to hire her again. She's worth double the price! Love love love Cheryll!
