TranzitionzJazz is an established group of Toronto musicians who have performed at many of Toronto's well-known music venues – Jim Thomas on flute, Jasmin Bailey on vocals and percussion, Richard Uglow on keyboards, Nick Arseneau on upright bass and Stuart Mein on drums. We perform a wide variety of popular music adapted to the world of melodic Jazz, Classical and Pop influences, (ranging from renowned composer Claude Bolling, Etta James, The Beatles to Drake and many more.) Our tasteful arrangements are a unique montage, soulful and smooth. Our cross-over style captivates lovers of Jazz, Classics and Popular music. TranzitionzJazz has already attracted a large following. We have played to sold-out audiences in our two annual jazz concerts. The group can be hired as a Trio with Piano, Vocals, and Flute accompaniment. Or as a Quartet with Upright Bass included. Or as a Quintet with Jazz Drums included.
