Mikhail Romanov studied at Moscow College of Jazz Art, Gnesin's Russian Academy of Music and Berklee College of Music. He has toured widely in the United States, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan as leader of his own jazz ensembles. In 2009, he performed in America for the first time, before an audience of thousands, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.
