Honestly no complaints. I sent him a list of songs I wanted to be played at my wedding ahead of time. I asked for audio files of the ceremony songs and he delivered and even made the adjustments I requested. The day of my wedding, I received lots of compliments on the musicians and It truly felt magical. Would 100% recommend and hire again.

Of course. I did not get to meet him until after. I walked down the aisle. But I heard the music from where I was with my girls and it was absolutely beautiful.
I also sent the girl out there. With a Boutnaire for him.

Matt was absolutely phenomenal to work with. He is an incredibly talented pianist, and provided a phenomenal cocktail hour for our wedding. We have nothing but positive things to say about Matt. He played for 3 hours at our casual home wedding reception. Arrived early, accompanied a guest who sang Tightrope from Greatest Showman, took song requests from guests, was very pleasant to work with and is overall an outstanding pianist and musician. Matt played background jazz piano at a brunch and reception for my wife’s birthday. Matt was thoughtful and responsive throughout the entire process. He arrived well ahead of everyone and blended perfectly into every aspect of the event. Everyone loved Matt’s playing. He set the mood for the event perfectly.
My two daughters (vocalist and guitarist) wanted to perform one song with Matt. They were in three different cities until the morning of the event. Two weeks in advance Matt sent a flawless recording of his piece that our daughters used to rehearse separately. Their performance was great. Matt was flawless, and could not have made the process any easier.

Matt Peterson is a true professional! We could not have hired a better pianist for our party. I am still getting texts from people saying it was the best party they have been to in years. We hired Matt to provide music for our wedding ceremony. He was very prompt in his replies and flexible in accommodating our requests. We asked for a jazz playlist prior to the ceremony, requested more traditional numbers during the ceremony, and pop for the recessional. Our requests included two songs he had not performed previously. Matt put together a fantastic ensemble to meet the varying needs we had for the music and arranged the new songs in a manner that was outstanding to hear. We received as much positive feedback on his work and his ensemble's work as any vendor we worked with for our wedding and would instantly hire him again in the future.

We hired Matt for our wedding reception during cocktails and dinner. He made this time so elegant and special for our guests and us! His beautiful playing filled the library's Winter Garden with the perfect ambience. He did all of this with extremely little instruction on the day of the event, all arrangements being made via email prior to, and executed perfectly. I had several special requests from several genres, including Coldplay, Fragile (by Sting, from The Living Sea), Claire de Lune- and he played each of these flawlessly and without question when I asked. He was so friendly and professional- I'm so happy we hired Matt and recommended him enthusiastically!!!

This was for my wife's birthday. It was her big request, so I did the research and hired Matt. My wife was very happy and all our guests enjoyed the music. We have quite a few performers in our family. Matt was great about taking requests and having some of my guests sing along on some songs. When there weren't requests, he picked out some great songs. My big thrill was when he played The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me."
I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone for a Pianist at a party or event. It was a great experience.

Matt is a consummate professional. He arrived on time (early), accommodated all of our requests, and rolled with the changes to the wedding ceremony. He is extremely talented, with a repertoire ranging from classical to jazz to contemporary. His arrangements were tasteful and also at the appropriate volume to allow for conversation. He played for 5 hours after the ceremony and many of our guests asked where we found such a talented musician. You should have absolutely no reservations about hiring Matt. I only wish we had another event so that I could listen to him play some more!

Matt was great! He arrived on time dressed appropriately for the occasion and did an amazing job! His musical choices were just as I requested along with some added selections the crowd loved. Folks would be mingling and suddenly start singing one the songs he was playing. His performance definitely added to the success of our party and I would hire him again.
