Our smooth and seasoned sound will add just the right touch to make your event one to remember.
Thomas Pombonyo- Flute/Saxophone/Clarinet has been an active member of the New York metro area music community for over 30 years. A versatile woodwind player, Thomas graduated from LIU Post with a degree in Music Education and studied saxophone, flute and clarinet with Joe Dixon, a former member of the NBC Symphony Orchestra directed by Arturo Toscanini. Thomas' performance experience includes many years of wedding bands, pit orchestras, big bands and classical ensembles in addition to being a much in-demand private instructor. Tom is also director of The Sonos Quartet. He is especially proud of The Michael/Thomas Duo and his affiliation with guitarist Mike Soloway.
Michael Soloway, Guitar is a classically trained guitarist who is at home in many musical styles. A graduate of Manhattan School of Music and a student of Manuel Barrueco, Mike has performed with such varied artists as folk musicians Pete Seeger and Doc Watson, opera singer Nico Castel, classical guitarist Eduardo Fernandez, jazz guitarist Chuck Loeb, Brazilian singer Ticco DaCosta, Greek singer Elly Paspalous, popular singer Esther Ofarim and cantor Avraham Albrecht. He has taught at New York University, Jersey City State College, C.U.N.Y and The Third Street Music School. Mike is an active performer throughout the New York metropolitan area.
