The Jazzlanders were wonderful to work with from the very beginning! They are extremely professional, well-organized and took the time to thoughtfully reply to all our emails in a timely manner. On the day of, they were one of the vendors I worried about least. On a musical note, my now husband and I are both music geeks and I was a music major in college. We are very picky about the quality of music that we wanted performed at our wedding and wanted someone who not only could play excellently but could feel out the crowd in terms of tempo, dynamics, etc. The Jazzlanders were perfect!!! Every note was beautiful, in-tune, well-timed and oh so classy! THANK YOU!

We had a Year End Review and selected the Jazzlanders among 7 bands. Their music sampling impressed those of us organizing the event the most and they readily were completely on board with our 1920's party theme and chose a repertoire from that period.
However, I can't award 5 stars because of some inconsistencies:
1) The quote requested a 50% deposit with 50% due the day of the event. However, because we ultimately did not select the Jazzlanders til the day after the quote, they increased the deposit nearly 30%.
2) The quote stated they would take no breaks but then the day before the event, they mentioned in passing that the band would take 2 breaks.

Regarding the increase of the deposit, we actually just asked the client if that'd be possible to give us a little bit more towards deposit. We usually don't do it, but this particular time we had a serious medical emergency with our band leader, just a couple of days before the event, and had to sort financial part of the agreement prior to the event.
Regarding the breaks, in our original quote to the client, it clearly stated that we will be taking the breaks. We have a receipt as a proof of that.
