The Bruce Smith Duo has been featured regularly at the top jazz venues in the Triangle. We perform a wide selection of standard and contemporary jazz, pop, and R&B classics featuring Bruce Smith on Piano/Keys/Vocals and Mike McPherson on Drums. We are available for weddings and private parties/events. The group is also available as a trio or quartet. Bruce has his Master's Degree in Music from University of South Carolina and has served as an Army Bandmaster for 20 years, playing and leading music all over the world. Michael is a retired School Administrator who has been performing music for over 30 years. I hope that you will consider our wide variety repertoire for your restaurant, bar, party, corporate event, festival, winery, or wedding cocktail hour/reception. You will be delighted with the professionalism, sound, and value you receive.
