From the House of Blues, to live shows on elegant cruises, to touring with Grammy-winning artists, Collinsworth’s relaxed approach to high standards of musicianship makes the audience want more every time. In stints with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, plus shows with Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Ben Vereen, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormè, Nate has developed a reputation as a confident master of his horn and a strong musical leader.
His musical training includes the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music and the Virginia Governor's Magnet School for the Arts. He also spent 4 years in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music. Nate is a member of ASCAP.
