Katy Free Jazz Band from Knoxville, TN

Katy Free is a vocalist based out of Knoxville, Tn with extensive training and performance experience in jazz, blues, pop, broadway, rock, and classical music. She released her debut album, Fine Day, in 2016. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Disney World, and toured the southeast with nationally renowned jazz pianist, Wendel Werner. She currently works with several groups providing music for various events in the region. Her long and varied song list ranges from jazz standards and blues to rock and pop for each generation while her specialty is taking songs from other genres and rearranging them as jazz tunes. Katy is happy to work with you to ensure that the music provided sets up your event for success. She can get a room dancing, provide music to accompany a dinner, and everything in between. Katy only works with the most accomplished musicians and prioritizes versatility. She has been compared to Adele, Karen Carpenter, Jane Monheit, and Joss Stone and is sure to make your event pop.
