Jim Neuman Trio Jazz Trio from New York City, NY

The Jim Neuman Trio has decades of experience performing in jazz clubs and at private events in the New York City metropolitan area. The group has two primary configurations: (1) a classic piano trio (piano, acoustic bass and drums) and (2) a jazz organ trio (organ, guitar and drums). The classic piano trio is modeled on artists such as Bill Evans, Red Garland, Wynton Kelly and Oscar Peterson, and plays jazz standards and Broadway tunes from the “great American songbook. The jazz organ trio is modeled on artists such as Jimmy Smith, Dr. Lonnie Smith and Joey DeFrancesco, and plays jazz standards, as well as funk, blues and selected pop material. Where a smaller group is needed, we also offer the option of performing as a duo (piano/guitar, piano/bass or piano/sax) or just solo piano. For a bigger sound, we can also add one or more horns to either trio, as well as a singer. Whatever the configuration, the Jim Neuman Trio is happy to tailor the set list to whatever is appropriate for the occasion.
