Ani Kresse studied 'Vocals' at the 'University of Music & Performing Arts' in Vienna, Austria. Marcus von Rittberg studied 'Piano' at the 'University of Cologne', Germany and 'Music Production and Audio Engineering' at the 'Institute of Production of Recording' in Minneapolis. Both of their musical journeys led them to NYC and later to LA where their paths met. Ani and Marcus's musical repertoire mainly consists of Jazz standards and Soul tunes. Their catalogue is rounded off by a s selection of Latin, Pop Classics and original compositions. Ani's vocal sound and style is influenced by her love for Soul, Gospel and R'n'B music. She effortlessly combines a refined vocal technique and a soulful sound with a captivating stage presence. Marcus' subtle piano arrangements put a unique spin on each song. Ani and Marcus beautifully harmonize together, creating a musical ambiance that seamlessly blends into restaurant, lounge, hotel, corporate and festive event settings.
