3 In The Pocket Jazz Band from Fairfield, CT

3 in The Pocket are an instrumental jazz trio dedicated to playing the standards of jazz from the 1950's and 60's. We are a traditional jazz trio who ONLY play jazz and specialize in re-creating the sounds of the music as it was played by the past jazz masters. The trio incudes organ, guitar and drums. The musicians have over 60 years worth of combined professional music experience playing in the tri-state area. The key to a good jazz trio is dynamics. 3 In The Pocket's main strength is the ability to play at a volume where the audience can eat, drink, and socialize to the music. Cocktail hours are our specialty. Our performances can range from 1 hour to 4 hours.
