Lively, energetic, World-Beat Irish band Skelpin based out of San Diego, CA. A collective group that performs a fusion of Irish Music and Spanish Flamenco, with Middle-Eastern and Latin percussion.
They love to play festivals, concerts, cooperate events, and parties. The entertainment not only comes from their great music abilities, but with their charisma and personalities on and off the stage.
Skelpin won "Best World Music Album" for their disc, A Trip to Skye at the San Diego Music Awards 2010.
In early 2010, a song from A Trip to Skye, "The View", won Grand Prize in the World Music category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
