With my humble beginnings, and trials made to defeat, I stand as a motivational speaker ready to help bring someone out of poverty thinking, emotional defeat, and hopelessness. I have been privileged to serve as an educational leader for over 10 years in various public schools and school districts and desire to become a principal and build my own school. In addition to serving as a principal, I've paid it forward to society through speaking engagements as a motivation speaker for various non-profits including the YMCA, Take Stock in Children (TSIC), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF), and more. I've been privileged to be featured in various magazines, i.e. Project Success, SRQ, Sarasota Magazine and more. Being featured in Senator Marco Rubio's book “American Dreams” has enabled me to share my story across the nation as a tool of hope for others. As an educational leader, I've been privileged to share my story as an author of my book series called, “How to Overcome Obstacles from Your Past”, which has helped many women, students and non-profit organizations. This book has now helped many listeners on the Inspiration Talk radio show by Pete O'Shea as I am able to join the show and talk about obstacles that people face and ways they can overcome them. Furthermore, as a doctoral student at the University of Florida, I aspire to influence future generations to continue in higher education. As a first generation graduate, I must continue to strive for the best while working with greater leaders each day. My purpose is serving others, and with my story I am able to make this happen.
