When a morbidly obese man is told he will never see the age of 30 or have a child of his own it ignites something inside of him that he has never seen...goals.
"I invite you to my story. At age 26 I weighed 426 pounds. Morbidly obese and getting closer to death every day. Growing up bullied, abused, and depressed I had lost all hope for life. Always feeling like a failure and being told that I would never amount to anything kept me from seeing the big picture. This is the point when I decided I was going to take my own life. But a voice inside of me kept telling me there was a purpose for my life and one day I would be called to do something significant.
I decided to give life a chance. This meant I had to step outside of my comfort zone and overcome all obstacles in able to achieve the results I desired to have. Of course when you've been big all your life you have a tendency to do everything big. Therefore, my goals and dreams became even BIGGER!
Exercise and nutrition became my new passion. I spent hundreds of hours researching food and understanding exactly what it did for my body. Eighteen months later I had lost 242 pounds! I defeated all odds and outlived the age of 30 and became the father of the son I was told I would never have."
