Rachael Yahne is a writer, blogger, inspirational speaker and 10 year cancer survivor. She currently writes lifestyle and wellness articles for Huffington Post, and has been featured on many other sites including Yahoo! and IHadCancer. She has also written for newspapers including The Seattle Times and The Newport Miner.
Rachael is also the author behind which aims to help women live purposeful, fulfilling, and of course stylish lives.
At the age of 17, Rachael was diagnosed with highly advanced stage 4B cancer, spread throughout her entire body including her bones. With limited time left to take action, she underwent an experimental chemotherapy and, along with her family, fought her way to survival and health. The experimental chemo succeeded, and her medical case made history when it was presented to the National Tumor Board in 2005.
Today, through her blog she writes about what life looks like not just after cancer, but all of life's big struggles. HerAfter discusses everyday topics including beauty, style, career, and wellness while keeping an eye on the bigger picture, asking life's big questions through life's everyday little moments. It's about living well, consciously, and sometimes just pretending to be 'normal' when we've been faced with the impossible...
Rachael has spoken at college campuses, churches, and women's empowerment events.
