Benitakbw Spoken Word Artist from Siler City, NC

Hi, my name is Benita B. Williams. I am from Providence, RI but I consider North Carolina my home since I have been here for most of my life. I am married to my wonderful husband and coach, Mr. A.M. Williams who also composed along with a good friend and musician all of the music tracks for my very first Spoken Word CD project entitled "Beauty for Ashes." I am a creative writer by nature. I have been writing since I can remember. Poetry is my genre of choice, and I was first published in 2009 under the pen name Benita K. Brown. My simple life message is that "life is beautiful." With every opportunity I have to "speak life," I count it a blessing and an honor because life is precious and I love making an impact on others. I perform at all venues; wherever people need inspiration, encouragement, or just need to feel uplifted and appreciated, I am that artist. My artistic style reminds you of neo-soul, jazz, gospel and rock. My music embodies that "riding in the car, feel good" music. I can truly perform on a variety of platforms and I don't mind traveling wherever as long as my expenses are covered.
