The Family Diabetes Picnic for The BD Diabetes Center at the Goryeb Children's Hospital at Morristown Medical Center was Sunday, June 12, 2011 and the theme was Superheroes. Having a hypnotist as the entertainment was the perfect idea. Robert Fried was easy to work with from the get go. He entertained the crowd for over an hour. Everyone enjoyed the show, laughing and watching in disbelief at his amazing talent of being able to hypnotize our patients and their parents!! What a fantastic highlight to the picnic and people are still talking about it which is a big compliment!

Our group had a great time. Robert was very considerate in dealing with other contractual obligations we had with other entertainers. Once he got warmed up it was just 1 laugh after another.

There was about 100 people and no chairs were provided for the audience - just 6 chairs for the volunteers and one of them was wet. Since the audience had no where to sit, they took the chairs that were meant for the volunteers. This disrupted the flow of things. When it came to the categories of my talent, I felt I should have been rated much higher. I AM FIVE STAR TALENT (see my other reviews). Also, I felt that the categories of overall talent and recommend were lower than they should have been too.

Most of the volunteers did go under as shown in this video clip from that show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k32tLnsoiM (copy and paste url into your browswer to watch it). I agree it was a tough crowd (more reluctant than any other I had worked with) and my strong skill in hypnosis is further supported by Rick F who gave me 4 out of 5 for talent.
