Who We Are...
The Kolohe Kanes ~ we are A Don Ho Tribute Band. We are dedicated to the revival and preservation of Old Waikiki music and dance that made Hawaii a tourist attraction. The band features such talent as Manny LaGod, former bassist and vocalist with Don Ho & The Alii's who has traveled internationally playing at various concert halls and well-known venues. Max Komine, who is formerly from two well-known Hawaiian groups Cecilio & Kapono and Country Comfort, is the band's guitarist. In addition, Ku'uipo Me Maka Nani, the bands lead dancer, has danced professionally throughout the U.S. and has performed for dignitaries and at State Capitals. She comes from a long line of professional hula dancers in her family.
What We Do...
Our Hawaiian/Polynesian shows features talent that sets us apart including beautiful staging and lighting that will bring a magical flavor to your event that will captivate and delight your audience. The unique musical sound of the band, "Kolohe Kanes" are made up of the most talented Hawaiian musicians and the dancer's costumes will dazzle the audience!
