Ruth is an experienced professional harpist providing beautiful music for events, parties and weddings across New York City, Long Island and the surrounding tri-state area. She has played in some of the finest hotels in NY, such as the St.Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, and the Plaza and venues such as the Rainbow Room at NBC Studios. Ruth has performed across the United States, Mexico, Asia and Europe and shared the stage with artists such as Placido Domingo, Juan Diego Flores, Elton John, Sarah Brightman, Armando Manzanero and Duncan Sheik to name a few.
She holds advanced performance degrees from Eastman and Manhattan School of Music.
A competition prizewinner on the international level, Ruth won 3rd place in the 2nd Dutch International Harp competition in 2012 and 1st prize in the National Harp Contest in Mexico City, 2009. She has performed with American Ballet Theater and the Metropolitan Opera.
Ruth has been presented in recitals as both soloist and chamber musician in Carnegie Hall, BargeMusic in Brooklyn, The Music Festival of the Hamptons, The Dame Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago, New York University, and SUNY Potsdam to name a few. She was also invited as a guest soloist with the Kremlin Chamber Orch. She has been a sought-after substitute on Broadway, performing in 'Beauty and the Beast', 'The Producer's', and 'The Fantasticks', a finalist for New World Symphony in Miami, Florida, former principal harpist of the Binghamton Philharmonic, and member of the Chelsea Symphony and One World Symphony in New York City.
