Martha Mapes is a prominent harpist in both Chicago and northwest Indiana. Classically trained in harp since the age of ten by Julliard alumnus Beverly Myrow, Martha has shown to be a professional and mature artist dedicated to her craft. She has been the principal harpist of the Northwest Indiana Youth Orchestra, played with South Park's Harp Angels, and performed for Blue Lake Fine Arts Center. She also volunteers at the University of Chicago as a music therapist. She is currently studying at Columbia College Chicago.
Martha is looking forward to providing a unique touch to your special event with beautiful harp music.

Martha came a little early to set up and was up and ready to run within a few minutes. She asked prior to appointment if we had any requests so she can be prepared. It was meant as a serenade for my wife's birthday to which she accommodated us so it would be a full surprise. Her tunes were beautiful and her personality was so lovely and charming. Thank you Martha for making it special for all of us.
