I was 6 years old when I started playing the harp and I totally felt in love of this instrument. I'm been playing as a semi-pro. Playing music for events and wedding is a complementary activity for, as I'm also conducting research in a neurobiology laboratory. But, I never was able to give up playing the harp.
I'm playing on an electric celtic harp (please see the pictures in the according section): from classical to various type of musics. This harp need an amplifier in order to be heard. I would be happy to play in all type of events, I have multiple experiences in playing for weddings and with orchestra.
My first goal is your satisfaction !
Here is a little of my background.
I started the harp when I was 6 years old, and followed a classical music education for 12 years in a national french conservatory of music.
I obtained several degrees during this training and I have played as a soloist several times.
Later I started to play for weddings. I have played Metallica which I adapted myself (Nothing else matter), as well as some more classical music like the Prelude from Bach and Thaïs Meditation from Massenet. I also more recently played for several french orchestra: those experiences learn me a lot in the process of playing with others.
My most recent experience in playing for wedding was a more complete engagement, and it was a wonderful experience where I had to collaborate with the bride to find the appropriate musics she wanted for the wedding. I got the chance to built a full program for the wedding. This experience encourage me to propose my service for everyone, any other kind of event also, as the bride and the groom were so happy with my work.
I also worked a lot with orchestra. My first experience was as a soloist back in my training harp program. Later, I auditioned to enter in 3 different orchestra and was lucky to be picked. I am currently playing with the Tualatin Valley Symphony, in Oregon ( ).
