Providing elegant and exciting harp music for your wedding event is my great joy. You choose between classical, celtic, pops, jazz, whatever fill your needs. I offer the following groups: harp solo, flute and harp duo, soprano and harp duo, and the Merry Minstrels (a group which plays Medieval and Renaissance music on period instruments wearing period costumes.)
Harp music is great for the wedding ceremony, the cocktail hour, an elegant reception, rehearsal dinner or luncheon.
Dr. Marilyn Wienand has been a musician all her life. She has studied in Vienna, Austria, and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She was a college professor in voice and class piano for many years. She has been a organist and Choirmaster of numerous churches. She began playing the harp in 1990 and now makes that the major focus of her life. She owns a beautiful Salvi Aurora pedal harp, a Salvi Egan lever harp and also a 22 string lap harp which her husband built for her.

Marilyn was truly outstanding. She was very friendly and professional in her emails prior to my wedding ceremony and the actual music the day of was beautiful. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I received multiple comments on how wonderful the music was. We had a few guests arrive late and she continued to play to fill in the time gap (which I very much appreciated). Marilyn is an extremely talented harpist and was one of the highlights of my wedding day. I highly recommend her.

We were really excited to have a harpist to perform at our event. Marilyn had issues with her harp, said that the batteries needed to be replaced in her amplifier, asked if we could get an amplifier for her to use and that she would bring her backup the next time that she played. When the honorees entered, Marilyn stopped playing and asked what we wanted her to do. during the banquet, after she played the requested song, Marilyn gathered her instrument and left while scripture was being read- Wish that she would have given reverence to the reading of Scripture. She plays well, but didn't exude a great deal of professionalism
