My Name is Madeline Wood and I have played classical harp in Washington and Oregon for 7 years now, and have enjoyed playing for a variety of events, parties and competitions. Having a harpist play at your wedding or event will help to create a lovely atmosphere, as well as relax your guests and raise the over-all caliber of your event. The harp is one of the most beautiful instruments, and is the number one choice when it comes to weddings and background music. The harp is also a beautiful choice for concerts, and special piece solo's as well as accompanying other instruments. Live harp music makes a beautiful addition to weddings, church events, parties, fundraisers, and other events. I play choice solo requests, as well as background music.
I have accompanied the LCC Symphonic Band several times by playing the harp in concerts. In May of 2012 I won the Lower Columbia College young artist scholarship and featured as the guest artist in their summer concert. For the past 7 years I have also competed in adjudication through the National Federation of Music Clubs: American Harp Society and earned a superior rating every time. For more information you can call me at three six zero, two seven zero, four two two four. or you can also visit my facebook page
