Julie Crystal - Music for All Occasions Harpist from Danville, PA

Experience the beauty of the Paraguayan harp performed by Dr. Julie Crystal. Trained in both classical and improvisational music in in the Washington D.C area, Julie has a wide repertoire with the ability to transform just about any piece of music to a unique harp arrangement. She has been playing the harp for over 20 years before intimate gatherings and large crowds, including the 1999 Opening of the PanAmerican Games in Winnipeg, Canada, the World Bank's 2010 Global Talent Showcase in Washington, D.C., and the 2012 Latin American Harp Festival in Arlington, Virginia. Her television appearances have included internationally broadcast shows, such as Sabado Gigante and Quiero Ser Estrella, as well as NBC local news. Elevating formal gatherings, she has performed for hundreds of weddings, dinner receptions, memorial services, and other special occasions. She has recorded three albums of harp music, featuring international/pop, holiday, and sacred melodies. Her repertoire is always updated with the latest music as well as Disney favorites while open to new requests. Aside from her medical and public health career, she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Danville Arts Council.
