Originally from New England, I just recently moved to Tampa with my husband and our two dogs. I studied music for my Bachelors in New York and my Masters in Chicago. While in Chicago, I served as one of the harpists for daily Afternoon Tea at the Drake Hotel. In addition to performing for special events, I also perform with orchestras and other music ensembles across the country. Recently, I have performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra, the Genessee Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, and the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra. As a gigging harpist, I love learning new music! I offer a wide range of genres for special events, ranging from classics such as Pachelbel's Canon in D, to jazz arrangements of timeless favorites (including Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Moon River, and When I Fall In Love), to pop songs by artists such as the Beatles, Christina Perri, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran. In addition to playing solo harp pieces, I often perform with additional musicians. Some popular choices for special events include violin, flute, cello, or a vocalist. I arrange my own music, so almost any special request can be accommodated! I pride myself in creating the best musical atmosphere for each event. I will work directly with you each step of the way to insure your special day is perfect!
