Andie's wedding packages include a free consultation over the phone or in person at her Chicago studio. A recent bride herself, Andie understands the stress of wedding planning and will put you at ease. Andie began training on the harp at age nine, and she has studied under many of country's best harpists. A natural performer, she began gracing audiences with her music at a young age, and she considers sharing her the harp with others an absolute delight and gift. Andie has experience with event and wedding planning so she understands the stress and natural questions that arise. CHOOSING MUSIC: Andie includes a free consultation over the phone or in person at her Chicago studio in all wedding packages. At this consultation, the client and Andie will choose music for the ceremony and discuss any other questions the client might have. For other events, Andie's light classical repertoire is standard. An in-person consultation is, therefore, usually not necessary, but Andie will be glad to discuss options. DRESS: Andie's standard performance apparel is professional all-black, but she will gladly dress to match the bridesmaids or wedding colors when she has a dress of the appropriate color. OUTDOORS: Andie loves to play outdoor events, and the sound of the harp carries outdoors well. However, the harp is a very fragile and valuable instrument that cannot be exposed to extreme temperatures or precipitation. Andie must be given a firm place to sit with the harp. Concrete works best; grass is not preferred. In the case of inclement weather, Andie will not be able to play outdoors and her fee will still be expected. DAY-OF CONTACT: Andie requires a day-of contact person (and his or her cell phone number) whom she can approach with questions or concerns. AMPLIFICATION: Amplification is usually unnecessary, but in the case of an especially large room, Andie will obligingly use any amplification provided by the venue. CONTRACT & PAYMENT: The client and Andie will sign a contract agreeing on the terms and price. At this time, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. The payment is due in full a week before the event.
