Please note: Live auditions are available at my rehearsal venue by appointment. It is my feeling that a live audition is much more fair to the client. That way, you can actually sample the sounds and personality you will be getting if you decide to hire me. However, I have attached video and audio samples for you to preview. I am in Ely MN from May 1 - Oct 1. I am in Ft. Lauderdale FL from Oct - April. Current and recent appearances in South Florida: Hard Rock Casino (Murphy's Law); Luke's; Blondie's; Christy's Pub; The Rendezvous; J's-Bar; Mrs. Murphy's; First Presbyterian Adult Activities; Aztec RV Park; Tequesta Terrace Assisted Living. In addition I have appeared at numerous service clubs such as Moose, Elks, VFW, American Legion. Utilizing hit record backing tracks, which I make myself, I then perform the hit artist's voice and deliver the lead guitar parts, so my performance sounds like the hit artist is actually there in person at your event. I play over 400 songs from the 60's to today, including George Ezra, Tom Petty, Kid Rock, Van Morrison, Beatles, Stones, CCR. Although my guitar playing and vocals headline my performances, I ALWAYS have a full karaoke setup with me, so that I can INVOLVE the guests, thereby increasing the fun for everyone. Last minute bookings and fill-ins are my specialty. PLUS, I own my own Bose L1 PA System so there will be no need to outsource that. Being totally wireless, I am able to mingle and solicit the audience's participation in making the performance a memorable one. That being said, my one man band act will provide a dancesable, as well as listenable format while I am performing. I use backing tracks made from original hit records, to accompany my guitar playing. I use computer software to remove the artist's voice and prominent guitar parts (while still retaining the backup singers, drums, bass, keyboards, etc.). I then add vocals and lead guitar back in while I am performing. ... Therefore, your guests will feel as though they are listening to the hit artists performing their songs in YOUR private venue. ... In addition, I incorporate several guitar instrumentals from artists like Booker T. & the MG's, the Ventures, Duane Eddy, Buck Owens and Jorgen Ingman, to add a true variety to the program I deliver.
