Great North Special is a group of highly dedicated, skilled and seasoned performers, many of them recognizable names from the San Francisco Jam Music Scene. With over 150 combined playing years, committed to recreating the finest music of the Grateful Dead from the acoustic Americana style of the early 70's and the highly favored Reckoning Album from 1980, to the acid jams which characterized the late 70's, 80's and 90's.
