Constance Alex George brings together one of the deadliest combination in the world of pop music. She blends in Afro-American sensibilities into a completely western pop rendition. Her harmonium music and thought provoking lyrics is what had charted the path of success for 'My Destiny' and 'I'll Be There' would be an even better offering for all her fans in the United States and across the African continent.
Born as Constance Nkeruka Alex – George on 27th September, 1984, at Denver in Colorado, she had shot to fame with her first music video titled 'Take Me Away'. In 2010, the video had topped the charts and was also nominated for the best video of the year by SilverBird and NTA2. Constance is also credited with two of her original songs 'Some One For me' and 'He Doesn't Know It' which have been turned into movie soundtracks. Presently, she is the CEO of Clex Records Inc and her latest 'I'll Be There' would be released under this label.
The R&B sensation is a contemporary Christian and apart from being an Afro-pop singer, she is also a songwriter. All songs sung by Constance Alex George are self composed by her and performed by her very own group. Ever since the success of 'Take Me Away' followed by 'My Destiny' Constance has been performing across various states and cities, in concerts and at various events.
A songwriter and singer since her preteen days, Constance has had a huge influence of various cultures owing to her upbringing in Colorado followed by Maryland and the state of Imo in Nigeria. It is the exposure to various worlds that had offered her, a finer perspective to life and reality. George's songs find a lot of resonance to these realties and that is also one of the factors that segregate her from the rest.
