Deniese Baisley Gospel Singer from El Paso, TX

Deniese Baisley was born in Manila, Arkansas. Her family later settled in El Paso, Texas where she grew up. Deniese is the 5th child out of four sisters and six brothers. She has been singing since the age of ten. In 1999, Deniese released her 1st single entitled “Through My Pain, I Will Rise" produced by Roney Jones. In 2013, she released her 2nd album entitled “Time to Soar” recorded at Daywind Studios in Nashville, TN produced by Rick Schweisenberg. In 2017, Deniese released her 3rd album entitled “Rise” produced by jazz musician Billy Townes from El Paso. Prior to releasing her 1st single, Deniese was a finalist in the Christian Artist Talent Search (CATS) where she traveled to Nashville, TN to compete. She sang in Dallas, TX at the Texas Gospel Announcer's Guild, and participated in the ZAT Music State –Wide Karaoke Contest in Las Cruces and won 1st place singing “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. Deniese is well known in the Border Plex community of El Paso, Texas and Ft. Bliss, Texas for singing at venues such as Arts in the Park, Celebration of Lights, Officer's Club, McKelligan Canyon, Providence Memorial Hospital Children's Ward, UMC Children's Hospital, Sanchez Unit Prison & Correctional Facility, KVIA Channel 7, One Love Festival, and at various church events. She also sang with well-renowned jazz guitarist Jonathan Butler and saxophonist Kirk Whalum. In 2018, Deniese was interviewed on KISSFM and 1150 AM Radio by Wayne Thornton of the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department. Deniese is known for singing the National Anthem at Police Banquets, the Mayor's State of the City, Hyundai Sun Bowl Banquets, Crime Stoppers events, Hillary Clinton's 2008 Democratic Presidential Campaign in El Paso, the Consulate General in Juarez, UTEP Men and Women Basketball games, KTSM channel 9, Purchasing Cooperative EXPOs, and Parks and Recreation events. In 2019, she was honored to sing the National Anthem at the El Paso Memorial Service for the victims effected by the August 3rd Mass Shooting in El Paso.
