International Gospel touring group from Harlem NY USA. Rev. Gregory M. Kelly & The Best of Harlem Gospel (BHG) was formed in Harlem, New York under the direction of GRAMMY AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER FOR HEZEKIAH WALKER, Gregory M. Kelly. After more than 20 years of touring throughout the world, having worked with the who's who in the gospel industry, people like Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, Sissy Houston, Donald Lawrence, John P. Kee, Vicky Winans, and secular artists such as Stevie Wonder, P. diddy, and even famous Opera Tenor, Pavarotti, this music director and producer has assembled together some of the East coast's best christian gospel singers and musicians for an authentic Harlem Black gospel experience. He has performed on stages such as Radio City music Hall, Carnegie Hall and world renown stages overseas including the Blue Note in both New York and Japan. This group features the mellow sounds of Timothy Riley(assistant director) who has worked with gospel artists such as Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burrell, J.J. Hairston of Youthful Praise, Shirley Caesar, Mary Mary, Michael Bolton, Lou Rawls, Freddie Jackson, and he was also a member of the legendary hall of fame group "The Golden Gate Quartet"(now based in Paris, France) for 3 years. His voice instantly calms audiences and can heal even the most troubled of hearts! Then there is the dynamic organ, piano, and acrobatic vocal stylings of Bishop Charles Lyles whose skills will leave you breathless. He has toured in gospel music for more than 25 years abroad in Europe, helping to solidify the popularity of gospel music in Europe. The group also includes the commanding stage and vocal presence of powerhouse Dorrey Lyles (currently one half of the famous duo "The Weather Girls" popular for making the hit song in the 80s "It's raining men") whose persona is a real force to be reckoned with. The group presents a repertoire of contemporary and traditional gospel songs including such classics as "AMAZING GRACE" and "OH HAPPY DAY". Combined with the other members: Soprano, Tiffany Mosley, whose 6 octave range will bedazzle you with their melodic tones, she is in high demand around the United States and has garnered a gospel following all her own; Alto, Dominique Smith, whose sultry lyrical voice hypnotizes you from the very first sound, Soprano, Briana Young whose worshipful voice commands the heavens with her powerful praises(BOTH of these contemporary vocalist's music can be found on Apple Music and they too have traveled the world performing with many famous artists); the incomparable Pianist and Tenor Steven McCaster, whose jazz nuances has allowed him to play for Grammy award winning gospel artist Kim Burrell whenever she comes to upstate New York, his sound sets BHG apart from any gospel sound you've heard before, and Super Drummer and Tenor Segdrick Marsh( who is currently the drummer for Soul R&B legend PATTI LABELLE) has the innate ability for complex rhythms making him the compass for the emotional sound the group brings forth in every accompanied title, all arranged by Rev.
