Oompoporama is the only all female oompop party band from Las Vegas. In fact, they might be the only all-female oompop party band in the world. Sure, Oompoporama plays traditional polkas and German party songs, but they also add a "German Twist" to popular songs. Take "Like a Virgin", "Moon River" or "I Will Survive"... add a polka beat, mesmerizing vocals and skillful instrumentals, top with personality and energy galore and you have yourself the perfect party. Not to be put in a box, the band adds in everything from Irish drinking songs to popular radio tunes. A mixed bag of talent and fun, Oompoporama is unique fun mixed with true talent.
Band members are:
Vita McCleavage - Vocals and Keyboard. Las Vegas born and bred.
Liz, The Baudy Brass - Trumpet and Vocals. From Munich, Germany. She's the real deal.
Tuba Chick Ginger - Playing the original heavy metal. Las Vegas born and bred.
Bubbly Beth - Vocals, Guitar, Spoons. Polka Nerd. Little lost Irish girl from Nebraska. The Big Joe Polka Show was her favorite radio show as a child.
Nan Bam Bam - Drums and percussion - Las Vegas born and bred.

Oompoparama was the most vibrant, exciting, fun, interactive and professional band I've ever worked with and I highly recommend them. All members were very friendly and accomodating. Everyone at my event were amazed by their talent!!!!

Oompoporama couldnt have been more perfect for our ROCKTOBERFEST in Zion National Park!!! They not only entertained all the adults but the children as well:) They were so much fun and talented. I will absolutly have them back again they definetly put the pop in oopah:)

The band was extremely demanding; they demanded food and beer before and after their band, and I don't think it's my responsibility to feed them for a one hour performance.
BUT what really took the hat was that they asked to have a glass stein which we had produced as give-aways for our clients. When we told them that we needed all of the steins for our clients, one of the steins suddenly disappeared. We confronted the band and asked them to open their bags, which they refused. About 10 minutes later, another band member returned the stein and apologized that her colleague had taken it in the first place.
Will definitely NOT use them again.
Oompoporama:
I refute adamantly all accusations regarding Oompoporama during IMEX. I have interviewed all band members as well as a cocktail waitress for the event and everyone agrees that the stein in question was taken by a very inebriated person, dressed in costume, who was in no way associated with our band. This mistaken identity and slanderous accusation has been extremely upsetting as well as personally and professionally detrimental to all of us. We are all highly respected, professional musicians who have been in the music business for countless years. As a side note, Franceska was an intern who is no longer with Germany tourism.Song List
