First off, I'm a life-time musician and have played lots of gigs like this so this was by far the biggest decision of the wedding for me, cause I knew if people weren't dancing it would be a bust :) ... 33rd St. is unbelievable and did not disappoint in the least. Dance floor was packed all night and the energy was unbelievable. They even played some improv dinner/jazz type music early on totally off the cuff that people really enjoyed. The coordination leading up to an event was extremely professional and those guys had our minds totally at ease. All I can say is if you're anywhere in their traveling radius, don't make the mistake of going with someone else :)

33rd Street Band professionalism, accommodation, and talent was above and beyond our expectations. They were great to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure that everyone was not only satisfied but happy, all while having a great time. Only complaint - Half dozen or so 'older' guests complained about hip problems from too much dancing. No kidding.
These guys are awesome. Very talented and professional musicians. Best wedding band in west Michigan. Heck, I'll personally guarantee it. Fantastic song selection. They KILLED our special request first dance song. We partied so, so hard. What a blast!
When the dance floor was packed, they knew to keep jamming. I think I was in the middle of a 10 minute dance circle at one point. I couldn't stop. Like the music was controlling my feet. Had me a bit worried til I realized I became king of dance. Was it a dream? Nope.

WOW! What can we say, 33rd Street Band made our wedding night truly a night to remember! The music was unbelievable, they are extremely talented and just nailed every song. The dance floor was rocking, from our friends, to Aunts and Uncles, to kids, to even the Grandparents!! We would highly recommend them to anyone, in fact we would love to hire them again someday. They were very willing to learn new songs that we requested and we were beside ourselves when we heard how good those songs ended up. These guys are good!

33rd Street Band was by far the best live band of its type that I have heard. The songs sounded amazing and it was by far the thing that people talked about the most. Even our younger siblings who had never heard some of these songs were ranting and raving about the band. They were very accommodating and made sure that everything was ready to go, reducing the stress of our wedding substantially. They are also very flexible. If I ever have another event in the area, 33rd Street Band will be the first band I call.

I hired 33rd Street Band for a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife at the Plymouth Country Club located in Plymouth, Indiana. Chris was a great guy to work with. The bands song list is awesome and the talent of all musicians is incredible. They even took the time to learn my wifes' favorite song, Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" by the Hollies. Not only was I impressed by the talent of this group, but everyone in attendence was too. I had endless compliments for doing such a great job in hiring this band. Our club president was in attendence and he said we need to have these guys back for our annual Luau Party. I know I will definetely hire this talented group for my next party. I just wish it was sooner than later. I already contacted 33rd Street Band and requested to be put on their mailing list for future gigs thay have scheduled. Thanks again.

33rd Street Band played at our wedding. They were very easy to work with and so much fun! They were even willing to learn a few songs for our special dances! After the first song we overheard people saying "wow - they are going to be good!" They kept people on the dance floor all night! Lots of comments were that they were personable and interactive with the dancing crowd and some people asked for their information to possibly book them for future events. The energy and enthusiasm the band exhibited throughout our reception really impacted our guests - everyone had a blast! I highly recommend this band if you want to dance and have fun!

Everyone had a great time! The add-on attraction of The Soulmen, a Blues Brothers lookalike pair, made the party even more fun. Book these guys for a fun time, music was all standards/popular, well known stuff. The band should consider listing themselves on Gigmasters as a package deal with the Soulmen...

Every aspect of working with this group of professional musicians was a pleasure.
They were thoroughly enjoyed by a party of 150 people ranging from6 to 86.
The dance floor was never empty.
The energy was on top ALL NIGHT.
They were a huge contributing factor to an outstanding party.
They were most cooperative in understanding our instruction and seemlessly made changes when things had to be switched.
I was also very appreciative of their help to another music duo.
All in all they were great and if I ever need another band they would be the first on my list.I would highly recommend them.mikki clay

The 33rd Street Band was a HUGE hit at my 60th birthday party for young and old alike. Everyone commented on how great the band was. They were set up and ready to go at the appropriate time, they asked how they should dress and presented themselves very well. And then there's the music they play......ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! I would highly recommend them! I'm already trying to figure out when I can have another party and ask them back!

I want to thank the 33rd Street Band for doing a fabulous job and for being a part of my special event. To sum this band up; My father is not a fan of horns in bands, my father also never gives out compliments very often. At my party my dad came up to me and said; You know I don't normaly like bands with horns, but this band is an exception to the rule, they are excellent and you did a great job in picking the band.....I would highly recommend this band for any event. We hired this group for mostly a senior audience. Only about 50% of the people liked them. Their music was not what senior people (ages 60-85)like. I knew that I was taking a chance with Blues Music. It did not really go over.
