Gavroche jazz band brings the Parisian streets of the early 20th century to New York. The band can perform in an ensemble as small as a voice/guitar duo or as big as a quartet with a violin and a bass. Its repertoire is French jazz, Gypsy swing, timeless American standards. With her expressive voice, Valentine Biollay hypnotizes the Big Apple by adding her own twist to the stylings of Edith Piaf, Mistinguette, Damia, Charles Trenet, Yves Montand and many more. Valentine was the resident singer of Fête Paradiso, the Parisian festival of vintage carnival rides and carousels on Governors Island.
