Irish music artist Jonathan Ramsey knows how to fill a room with sound. According to Liam Riggs of the River Valley Celtic Festival,'If you didn't see him up there, you wouldn't believe it's just one guy.' Both solo and with his band, Jonathan has filled many rooms with the sounds of traditional and modern Irish and Scottish music. With a constant smile, Jonathan delivers a strong show, combining history, humor, and audience participation. Jonathan credits his style to the influence of performances by the Chieftains, the Clancy Brothers, the Dubliners, the Wolfe Tones, Mary Black, and Martin Simpson. And he uses his broad background in folk, rock, classical, jazz, and blues to deliver performances entertaining to both seasoned Irish music lovers as well as the uninitiated.
