Darius Kaufmann arrived immaculately dressed in full bagpiper regalia and played at the end of my brother's memorial service after listening attentively to the eulogies that were given before his performance. He had been hired to play "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes and to lead the attendees in singing the hymn. Before he performed he added more information to the back story of that hymn than had been given by one of the eulogizers. He then simultaneously played the hymn beautifully while expertly leading the singing. I am very pleased that I hired Mr. Kaufmann to play at my brother's service.

Darius was absolutely fantastic. Our family was very happy with the his performance, appearance, and how cordial he was at our Mother's graveside service. She loved the bagpipes and she loved Ireland. Darius provided her with both. His playing of Danny Boy on the Whistle brought a tear to everyone's eye. I highly recommend Darius Kaufman. I was THRILLED with Darius Kaufmann! He was on time and he was agreeable to whatever we wanted or needed him to do! Attendees of the event have been talking about him and how wonderful he was! We travelled from our home in Scotland to get married in NYC and hired Darius for the event - even before we confirmed our booking, Darius was professional, communicative, helpful and enthusiastic - he continued to be so throughout. Being Scottish ourselves and a very musical family, we are tough customers to please in the bagpipe department but I'm delighted to confirm that Darius was fantastic and totally exceeded our expectations. Cannot recommend highly enough - made our wedding!

Darius was wonderful! He called and we spoke about the ceremony, songs that would be played and he asked for my opinion on what to hear. He was so kind and professional. Darius is amazing--he transformed our wedding! He plays excellently; couldn't ask for a better piper. He was very professional and was in touch when we booked him and throughout the planning process. The night before he called to get a second cell # in case there were any problems. He arrived right on time and is exceedingly reliable! Most importantly: so many guests came up to us and said that the bagpiper was their favorite part of the wedding. He set the spirit and tone for the whole evening--joyous, yet elegant! Many bystanders stopped to take pictures of us processing down NYC streets with him as our leader. It is a memory we will cherish forever!
