Sam Minelli Folk Singer from Hamilton, OH

Hey everybody! My name is Sam Minelli, a 23 year old singer songwriter out of Cincinnati Ohio. I moved forward with my songwriting during high school and continued in college. I worked to combine influences from his classic folk idols such as Bob Dylan, John Prine and Johnny Cash, and mix them with a more modern, pop sensibility from Ben Harper, Jason Mraz and Ray LaMontagne. I began playing around the neighborhoods encompassing Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati, building a local following. I worked tirelessly every day to progress as a writer that epitomized the music I had been surrounded and influenced by throughout my life. After exiting college, I have continued to focus on my writing with the goal of continued change, growth and development as an artist. Based in Cincinnati, I am using the underrated music scene in the city as a perfect environment for refinement, and the platform for people to begin to understand my attempted artistic nature. I am excited to see what the future brings and listeners should be too. I specialize in soul filled acoustic music influenced by genres such as folk, acoustic pop, and jazz. The songs draw focus on the lyrics and the stories that they express.
