Baird Welch-Collins Folk Singer from Waterford, CT

Baird Welch-Collins is a musician from Southeastern Connecticut. From a young age, he showed an affinity for folk songs and went on to learn several instruments including the guitar, Irish bouzouki, 5-string banjo, mountain dulcimer, mandola, viola, and accordion. In addition to many solo performances for concerts, private events, and community gatherings, his first band, Celtic Ceol, was a regular treat for many years at New London County's summer Sailfest. Baird has appeared in a variety of venues: local festivals, community events, and any opportunity to lend a voice for charity. He is currently a popular solo performer in Southern New England known for his distinctive styles and arrangements, diverse repertoire, and strong voice. Having performed in Southeast New England for over eight years, Baird has extensive experience with private events and public performances.
