Owls & Lions is an "Acoustic Guitar/Violin- Male/Female-Singer/Songwriter Duo)- comprised of songbirds Jay Della Valle & Nicole DeLoi. Enjoy a refreshing arsenal of cover songs (Pop, Rock, Folk, Country, Classical) as well as heartfelt original music- all folk-ified in a most refreshing and heartwarming fashion. Jay & Nicole add the perfect touch of originality and sass - while maintaining a mellow vibe and a comfortable volume. Although Owls & Lions is primarily a DUO act- we often play as a TRIO by adding an Acoustic Percussionist (Cajon, Shakers, Tambourine) who enables us to perform the more dance-worthy music necessary to keep guests dancing at any reception. Other popular instruments that can be easily added are Saxophone, Cello, Upright Bass, & Pedal Steel. There is a charge for each added musician per hour. Jay Della Valle, the guitarist/singer is also a very established Wedding MC/DJ/Coordinator with over 15 years experience. We call this a Band/DJ Hybrid and it's a great way to save a little money and also have the best of both worlds- as we are very good at gauging an audience and knowing how to blend DJ and Live Music while keeping it exciting.
