AmerikanaBlue is an acoustic trio that features the type of music you might have heard in a Greenwich Village coffeehouse in the late 60's. Folk songs, protest, plantation Blues, country... anything that someone with a Sears guitar and an ounce of courage might get up and sing during an open mic! AmerikanaBlue was developed for playing in more intimate settings and allowing for experimentation in various musical styles. We all have an affinity for the Blues, and it continues to influence our style, but with AmerikanaBlue we get to explore a wide range of songs that influenced us and those new songs that motivate us to push the limits. We are a semi-acoustic trio consisting of rhythm guitar/vocals, lead guitar and stand-up bass. We fit in pretty much any space...any corner of your dark bistro will do! Dinner service, apres ski, happy hour, late night in the club, corporate and private parties, weddings, anniversaries...if you need some music, we can provide it.
