Catie Moore Flutist from Crestone, CO

Catie Moore has over 20 years of experience providing live music for special events. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in flute performance from William Jewell College in 1990. She has been active both as a freelancer and in amateur musical and theater groups in Oxford, England; Rockland and Brunswick, Maine; and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2004, Catie auditioned on flute and piccolo for the New Mexico Symphony and made it onto the sub list. That year, she also performed as a flutist in the Santa Fe Opera’s production of Bellini’s “La Sonnambula”, and as a choir member in Santa Fe Pro Musica’s premiere of “Rock of Angels”. In 2005 she moved to Crestone, where she has performed on voice and flute with the Adams State College Orchestra, CB Jazz, Tripping Upstairs, Crestone Community Choir, and Windscapes. Catie can be booked as a soloist, as part of a small ensemble (duo, trio, or quartet), or can work with other musicians of your choice.
