Clarita & Arte Flamenco perform nationally and internationally and are available for Concerts, Corporate Events, Festivals, Weddings, Private Parties and Restaurant/Nite Clubs. Clarita & Arte Flamenco have opened for The Gypsy Kings, Jay Leno, were featured in John Tesh's PBS program "Avalon", the Emmy Award winning KNBC "Starting Over" show and "House". Arte Flamenco consists of Clarita, singers, guitarists & percussionists and dancers. The group size can be modified to perfectly match your entertainment needs, which makes Arte Flamenco the ideal company for your event. Clarita began her dancing at an early age, after studying in the United States, she went to Spain and studied with the finest instructors; Mario Maya, Manolo Marin, La Tati, Juan Manuel, Cristobal Reyes and Juana Amaya. Clarita debut at "El Arenal" in Sevilla Spain where she was discovered by Curro Velez one of Spain premier dancers. Later, she performed with Juan Pena "El Lebrijano" and was later invited to perform for the then President of Spain Felipe Gonzalez and the British Prime Minister. Upon returning to the US, Clarita created the Arte Flamenco Dance Theatre.
