Marla Tenby of Marla's Face Painting

Welcome to Marla's Face Painting. With a focus on fun, I happily bring to life your favourite character, animal or design -- right on your face! Working together with each person's imagination and personality, I create fun, colourful and exciting artworks on the face... and arms, for those who wish to have tattoos!

NEW: I now also offer Glitter Tattoos. These appeal to teens, adults all the way down to young children. They are beautiful, sparkling, come in all colours, in many designs (ie: butterfly, flowers, scorpion, spider etc.)

Whether it's Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos or both, these are excellent ways to enhance an already exciting event.


Some of the most recent and upcoming events I have participated in are the Toronto Jazz Festival, Corso Italia,
Steamship Festival and Dockside Festival, as well as Grand Openings and various corporate events. Where ever you're having fun, make it more fun with Face Painting or Glitter Tattoos!

I also offer coming dressed as a clown, leading sing alongs and parachute gymboree games for toddlers.

DESCRIPTION: As a Face Painter I use safe, nontoxic, FDA approved water based make up. It takes 3-10 minutes to paint a face, depending on the area covered, and detail of artwork .

Face Painting:  $75 - $100/hr  /   minimum $150 per event/appearance
Glitter Tattoos:  $100 - $140/hr
Clown Appearance: extra fee, depending on time of appearance

Marla arrived prior to scheduled time to setup and be ready to work.  As far as I could tell, children (and some adults) were enthralled with the experience.

Strawberry was amazing! We arrived at my girl's daycare class right after 22 kids have woken up from nap and in 2 hours she had painted each one's face, made them a sculpture ballon and had done a magic show! AMAZING! The birthday girl got two ballons and an extra paiting...My daugther was soo happy!!
When my daughter looked at me and said that she was never going to forget that moment I knew I had picked the right person!
When the kids did not want Strawberry to go home and hugged her with "a group hug" you could see that she was a mut have in any party!
Way to go Marla...I'm 100% happy that I had you for our party!

We can't express enough how happy our guests and we were with Marla. She was wonderful with the kids and was so patient with all of them. The magic show was great!  She involved all the kids and they had a blast!  Her balloon animals were a hit too. We highly recommend Marla's Face Painting....you will not be disappointed!

Face Painting

We hired Marla's Face Painting services for our children's birthday party. We were extremely happy with her performance and her talents, face pianting and balloon animals. Everyone was amazed with her level of skill. A lot of people were inquiring about her for their parties and we'd hire her again in a heartbeat for ours.
