Starting at a very young age Mandy was recognized for her artistic talent continually winning awards and constantly doodling on everything she could. Thinking it was the only way an artist could make a living, Mandy then went on to college to study graphic design. In 1999, Mandy received her degree but instead of pursuing a job in this field, something kept telling her that this was not her path. Mandy has always enjoyed art, especially painting, but it was not until the year 2011 that she discovered her true passion of painting people. While babysitting that day, the kids asked her to paint their faces. Mandy was hooked right away. Face painting led to body painting and the rest is history. Even though Mandy has always been a creative and passionate person, several years of her life were thwarted by a severe eating disorder that nearly took her life. Grateful that she found recovery, Mandy has literally been given a second chance and because of this lives each day with passion and purpose. She strives to live each day from her heart and soul, staying aware and choosing to not allow fear, food or substances to run her life again. Mandy's talent has been described as a gift from God and people are often mesmorized by her artwork. Mandy is unique in that she not only paints people but she also paints herself, creating her own collection of self portraits.
