In 2009, tried and convicted for a mix he most definitely did commit, DJ Sugar, a professional performance DJ, has been doin' hard time behind the decks for nearly a decade. During that time, surviving as a professional DJ of fortune, DJ Sugar has performed at numerous events ranging from birthday parties, weddings, all types of special events and everything in between. For DJ Sugar, it's all about the music. Having been raised on his family's eclectic musical combinations ranging from Latin mariachi, 70's disco, synth infused 80's pop, funk, classic rock and punk, DJ Sugar ended up with quite a vast spectrum of musical influences. When DJ Sugar took to DJing full time in 2009, after the economic crash of 2007-08, those influences translated into sets where he showcases the best of electronic music, regardless of genre.
