Suzanna Belly Dancer from Seattle, WA

From full scale productions to intimate dinner shows, Suzanna has performed her signature style of world belly dance since 2002 in concert halls, art museums, universities, galas, international festivals, restaurant cabarets, and other venues. Building on her extensive training in ballet, contemporary, West African and other styles, she has traveled the globe to train extensively with renowned Middle Eastern dancers and choreographers. In turn, she has trained hundreds of students, empowering them with core technique as well as the ability to choreograph or improvise. She is a performing member of Forge Dance Theatre, a cross-disciplinary company forging new possibilities in the local arts scene. With her degree and background in theatre, Suzanna has also directed and produced multi-dimensional events such as Belly Dance Off and Cinderella-An Egyptian Story, and been honored with a 4Culture Touring Arts Roster award.
